Underwater vehicles (ROVs/AUVs) operate in “stormy” environments where traditional controllers often fail. Their joint research introduces an advanced Fractional-Order($PI^{\lambda}D^{\mu}$) control strategy specifically optimized to handle nonlinear hydrodynamics and severe wave disturbances.
