Dr. Kartci received her Ph.D. degree in Electronics from the Brno University of Technology, the Czech Republic in 2019 and M.S. degree from Yildiz Technical University, Turkey, in 2015. She was with the Sensors Lab and RISC Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2020 to 2023. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, at Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Istanbul, Turkey. She is the founder of the Marine Integrated Systems Laboratory (MarInteg). Dr. Kartci’s research focused on the import of concepts from fractional calculus into circuit theory especially in regards to their applications in analog signal processing, control systems, modelling materials i.e. biological tissues, energy storage devices, and their measurement, and underwater robotics. She is a Senior Member of IEEE.
